- The beginning of the school year for our staff always starts off with a professional development headed by our principal Ms. Brown and while in our multipurpose room she showed us a motivational video Every kid needs a Champion presented by Rita Pierson on the TED YouTube channel. This video really spoke to me and I think about it all the time. She talks about how long she has been a part of the education process and how many reforms it has gone through and most importantly she talks about something that is rarely talked about in the educational process; the value and importance of human connection because “you know kids don’t learn from people they don’t like”

- This assignment has traveled all over Delaware county I started it on my laptop at my sister in law’s apartment while my wife got her hair done, worked on it at work on my phone and on our work laptops (yes my work was done first)
- I am truly proud of this project, this Adaptive mindset assignment is the first "paper" I have written in over four years and it isn't half bad, it is actually full of amazing content, content that I was able to put onto paper. I never thought that after years of being out of school I would be able to complete an assignment of such length. This may not be the longest paper ever written, or the best written for that matter but the point is it isn't a terrible mess, it makes sense is somewhat easy to follow has true meaning to it and I am the one who created it! I had forgotten what an amazing feeling it is to create something
